Let me share some history of Orhan Kutbay House and Cafe whose name is derived from my beloved grandfather, Orhan Kutbay. He was the owner of this house and he used to spend his holidays here. During his blessed life, he was the Food and Beverage Manager of a prestigious five star hotel in Istanbul.

He was a dedicated and award winning manager as well as a teacher at Istanbul University. Later, he came to share his knowledge in a book titled "Yemek ve Servis Sanati" (The Art of Food and Service) in 1992. He inspired and instilled in both my mother and I a passion of bringing joy and memories to all our guests we are so grateful to meet in our House.
